Compact corked-out workspace

Jaypeecee has not had an actual desk of his own in almost four years. Not that this is much of a step up, but it's a workspace! He had 30" of unclaimed wall, so he figured this unit would fit the bill. It's a stock Ikea PS Laptop Workstation, but to spruce it up a little bit and create an impact-dampening surface for my laptop, he added some cork to the surfaces using this self adhesive 18" x 4' roll of cork lining. It had to be mounted over the moulding, so it actually sits on two Ikea shelf brackets, and is secured in the back by three toggle bolts via holes drilled in the rear panel.
