Keep yourself safe from getting ripped off

Everyday I get inundated with calls and Emails from people. Debt consolidators, work-at-home offers, you name it.

Some of these people are OK, a lot are very bad.

I just received a call the other day from some guy who told me he could get my 4.75% interest rate down 2% all the way to 2.75%.

I told him great and to send me some info and I’m in.

He then goes on to say, "ok I’ll fax it to you, all I need is a credit card payment of $799.00." I then go on to ask him for what, and he says to pay for the processing. I tell him that I need proof first, and he goes on to say that before he can do

anything….blah...blah...blah. I said thank you for you time and I hung up on him.

Now I’m a smart guy, but there are lots of people out there who are waiting to get taken. In every environment they peddle you the next hot area. Whether it be precious metals or whatever. “Remember the Internet back then?” There are a lot of people out there who don’t want to work for a living ,and all they want to do is stick their hands in your pockets and pull out your money, and you will never see them again.

Be suspicious of everything that is really going on out there, and guard yourself against these people.

Keep your money in your pocket.
