Pursue your interest's and refuse to commit

If you’re attracted to many different endeavors in your life, and can’t commit to any one of them regarding your career, source of income, or college major, then bravo! One of history's greatest minds of all time, Leonardo da Vinci was in the exact same situation.
To this day some several hundred years after his death, he is considered by many to be the greatest genius of all time. The idea that you must commit to a single career for life makes perfect sense if you want to live as a drone. But if you do that all you become is a cog in the worlds machine, easily expendable, and replaced by the other cogs of the world.
I'll make a prediction... the other people advising you to stick to one thing and commit to it are also drones themselves, am I correct? Do you really want the same results as the others? Or do you deserve something better?

There’s no rule that says you must commit to being a drone
I don’t want to commit to any single thing in my life. I have far too many interests. I'd become miserable if I did. I’d only feel trapped. I like listening to others, but these aren’t the naysayers that tell you you’re headed for disaster either, these are the people that say to you..."The more interests you chase after, the brighter you’ll turn out to be.”There’s no law that states you must resign yourself to being a robotic drone. In my past I have mastered distance running ,(8 miles per day) learned and became quite proficient at playing the electric guitar, cured myself of a serious health problem, became certified as a technical writer, and a host of other specializations.

Many of my learning experiences were pursued on weekends and at night. No one came to my home to arrest me, and the world didn’t end because I failed at being a mindless drone.
